Tree Trimming & Pruning Services

Overgrown trees are dangerous to the structures around them and restrict other elements of your landscape from receiving the proper sunlight.  Get rid of scary limbs hanging over the house or any dead branches.  Cleaning up the lower branches and thinning out the canopy when applicable can keep your tree manageable for years to come.

Stump Grinding & Stump Removal Pittsburgh

Removing the tree stump and its associated roots is a significant task and should be considered with any tree removal project.  We can bring our stump grinder or excavator to remove all traces of the tree and fix any damage to the lawn. Learn more about stump removal.

Tree Removal FAQs

How much does tree removal cost?

+
Tree removal costs vary based on size, location, and complexity. Small trees (under 25 feet) typically cost $300-$800. Medium trees (25-50 feet) range $800-$1,500. Large trees (50+ feet) or difficult access situations can run $1,500-$3,500+. We provide free on-site estimates.

Do you offer stump grinding?

+
Yes, we offer stump grinding as an add-on to tree removal or as a standalone service. We grind stumps 6-8 inches below grade so you can cover with soil and seed. For complete root removal, we can excavate stumps entirely and restore the lawn.

Can you plant a new tree after removal?

+
Absolutely. Unlike typical tree companies, we're a full-service landscaper. We can remove the old tree, grind the stump, restore the lawn, and plant a new tree in the same visit or a follow-up appointment. Check our plants page for options.

When is the best time to remove a tree?

+
Tree removal can be done year-round. Winter is often ideal — frozen ground reduces lawn damage, bare branches make the work easier, and scheduling is more flexible. However, hazardous trees should be removed immediately regardless of season.
