The first real snow in Pittsburgh rarely gives much warning, and by then every plow operator is already busy. If you manage a commercial lot in the South Hills, the 2026 to 2027 season is the time to line up who clears it, in what order, and what happens when the lot needs salt as well as plowing.
Our snow work is limited on purpose. We plow commercial lots and large areas only, we do not do driveways, and we keep the list short so the properties on it get proper service. Our commercial snow removal service is built around lots and large areas. Our equipment ranges from dump trucks to large wheel loaders, along with sidewalk-specific vehicles, so one crew can handle the lot and the walkways.
We keep our service area within 10 minutes of our garage in Clairton, which covers Pleasant Hills, West Mifflin, and the surrounding area. A tight radius means we reach every property on the list quickly when a storm hits, and it is the reason we do not take on properties farther out.
A seasonal contract gives you priority service: contract clients are served before one-off requests. It also gives you one number to plan around for the winter. Salting and ice management can be part of the contract or requested for individual events.
Per-event service charges for each snowfall, which can work for a smaller lot in a light year but leaves you at the back of the line when the snow is heavy.
